Step By Step Start Up Plan For Making Internet Cash

The links are here to show you helpful resources you can use in order to generate income from the internet.


Step 1 - Pick a Product To Promote

Think about what products are in demand. What are people buying? What are people passionate about? What information are people hungry for?

A good place to look is Google Trends

Once you decide what product to promote you will need to find an affiliate program for that product.
Do a Google search for the product name +affiliate program. If you were going to promote
 Wealthy Affiliate  you would type  - wealthy affiliate +affiliate program into the Google search box.

 (Only Wealthy Affiliate members can promote Wealthy Affiliate though)

Another way is to go to the website of a product you want to promote and look at the very bottom of the page for the word affiliate, affiliates or partners.

Sign up for your product's affiliate program and get your affiliate ID (It's free to join affiliate programs). This is what you will need in order to track your sales.

Step 2 - Select Low Competition Keywords That Target Your Product

You want a keyword phrase that has around 100 searches a day with less than 10,000 competing websites using the same keyword.

You can use Wordtracker.com to see how many searches a phrase has everyday

You can also download a Free Research Guide from Wordtracker to help you understand keyword research a little better.

After you find a keyword phrase that gets around 100 searches a day then use Google to do an "exact phrase match" search.

(type your phrase into Google with quotes around the keyword phrase this will return how many websites have that EXACT keyword phrase on their website.......this is your competition.

Once you find a phrase that gets around 100 searches a day AND has LESS than 10,000 competing websites from your Google search, you are ready to register a CHEAP domain name at www.godaddy.com  They only cost a few dollars a YEAR.

You want your domain name to be relavent to your product and keyword phrase. We will use this domain name to do a "redirect" to your affiliate page/product.

This will be explained in further detail later.

Step 3 - Write Ads And Articles

This is the part where your keyword research comes in handy. You will write articles focused on your low competition keyword phrase and in turn will have a chance at a higher ranking in the search engines. (which equals more traffic AND MORE sales)

It may seem like an intimidating thought at first but after you write few and read a few it gets MUCH easier. (The best part is that it's Free)

The best place to submit articles for alot of traffic is ezinearticles.com. You will need to read their Terms of service to make sure you adhere to their guidelines.

When writing your article make sure you have your keyword phrase in the article title (Also be sure to make your title interesting) also put your keyword phrase in the first paragraph, in the middle somewhere, in the last paragraph, and in your resource box. (your domain name also goes in the resource box.)

Make your resource box interesting enough that someone will want to click on it. Your domain name will then redirect to the affiliate page for a possible sale.

How to set-up your redirect: (If you have already bought a domain name...if not you will need to do that first.)

Login to your godaddy account, click the "domains" tab. Select "my domains".  Click the checkbox for the domain name that you want to redirect, then select the tab at the top that says "redirect". Check the "enable" box. Then in the "redirect to" space, put in your affiliate ID/link that you will be redirecting to. Click the button that says redirect permanently. This should get your domain name redirected to your affiliate product page.
